Also in 1895, X-ray was discovered. Medical science decided it was of no practical value; BJ Palmer on the other hand was convinced that X-rays would help chiropractors and he is responsible for developing X-ray techniques that are still used today. The principles of chiropractic care developed in the early 1900's along with those of X-ray, are still being used today. Patients by the thousands continued to seek chiropractic care in spite of an organized medical attack. Chiropractors continued to practice and witness the favorable results of chiropractic care even though they could not rely on scientific statement verifying their work. They knew it worked, their patients knew it worked, they didn't know exactly why and didn't care. Today science has a better understanding of human anatomy and how the body works. We know that the Central Nervous System controls everything all of the time in healthy people. Medical science has not yet discovered what causes the Central Nervous System to fail. Nor for that matter are they even looking in that direction. Science continues to look at, and study the parts of the defense network and yet are blind to the concept that it is a network. The parts do not equal the whole. They continue to study histamines, white blood cells, T cells, microphages, macrophages, hormones, endorphins, DNA and on and on. They are looking at the actors and ignoring the play. In 1895 DD Palmer, a magnetic healer knew all of this innately; He could not have explained it, just as the chiropractors in the early days could not have explained it. They just knew it. Today chiropractors know it. Medicine is still searching.
This has been bothering me for six months, can't you fix it now? If the sum of negative survival values are higher than the sum of positive survival values, the prognosis is not good. Medical research on joint injury states that Phase one lasts 72-96 hours and is characterized by reduced range of motion, severe constant sharp pain, edema, spasm, redness. Phase two takes 6-8 weeks at which time new tissue is laid down in a random pattern and is characterized by increased range of motion, often with pain, chronic pain that waxes and wanes, with episodes of exacerbation of the original pain as the activities of daily living increase. Phase three usually takes 12 months and in some cases up to 36 months, in which ten percent of these cases will have a lifetime of pain or discomfort daily. When will you get better? Each day you get a little better than you were yesterday. Provided you increase the positive survival values and decrease the negative survival values.
If you want to be healthy...happy and pain free. Don't think for a minute...you can give that job to me. You've spent a lifetime...to get you this way...you'll need one more lifetime to get back to the way you remember you were...and how you want to be. Your job is to learn all the bad things you've done. You'll find out from them...what you need to do...To undo the damage...You've done to you. You'll find all the bad things you've already done...are the same things you are doing...that...now...is not fun. This is the key to unlock the door...to a much brighter future that you have in store. To be healthy, and happy and to live pain free...takes a lifetime of living...simply...each day. You need to examine the food that you eat...you know it's not right if it has too much fat, if all the vitamins and minerals were left in the vat. If it is loaded with sugar or salt it's not good...except for the company that processed the food. You need to exercise, walk everyday...get back in shape then, to stay that way...at least three times a week work up a sweat...away from the job...do it each week...you won't be a slob. To repair our inside with the food that we eat...rest...turns it to muscle...not marbled meat. With your feet firmly planted...without climbing a tree you'll find all you look at...now...you can see. My job is to guide you...to the things you already know. Together we'll make... your life now to grow, more loving...more living...with a whole lot less strife. It will work...if you work it...for the rest of your life. LINKS Websites of Other Chiropractors Chiropractic Colleges
